Introduction and Objectives of the Project
Green Ocean are going to detail out quality focus procedures. We will establish quality control, and quality principles. We will create a quality system. After that we will follow the national and international standards. we will develop Quality Control in terms of actions we must take in order to allow the product, equipment, software, service, to conform to pre-set standards and policy. We measure actual quality performance, compare it with standards by using Quality Control. Beside that, we will have Quality Assurance, which as defined as a system of activities with the mission to provide an assurance that the overall quality control is in fact being done effectively according to professor Paul. G Ranky. We will set up our Quality System that represents the collective plans, activities and events that are provided to ensure that a product, process, or service will satisfy given needs. In this way, we will be able to achieve the "Zero Defect".
In detail information, we will also have a Total Quality Control Subsystems about purchase control, process control, manufacturing information control, operation control, process steps and process capability control, finished products control, measuring instruments and test equipment control, and corrective action control. Our quality system will follow ISO 9000:2000. We will focus on the key elements and areas of responsibilities of quality standards including Management Responsibility, Quality System, Contract Review, Design Control, Document Control, Purchasing, Purchaser Supplied Product, Product Identification and Traceability, Process Control, Inspection and Testing, Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment, Inspection and Test Status, Control of Non-conforming Product, Corrective Action, Handling, Storage, Packing and Delivery of Materials, Quality Records, Internal Quality Audits, Training, Servicing, and, last but not the least, Statistical Techniques.
Our product is totally eco-friendly and sustainable and green. It helps our customers not only cut cost, rise benefits, increase efficiency, but also bring society benefits without any pollution. Auto Forklift and its system is a quality focused product. All products components will be outsource by each eco-friendly, sustainable and green, and total quality focused subcontractors.
We will use varies of methods, such as Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts, to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and be enrolled in the Baldrige National Quality Program. We will also performance TQM review. We will use Requirement Analysis Spreadsheet and Process-oriented failure Risk Analysis Spreadsheet.
We will have Total Quality Control and follow Assurance Principles. We know 21 century is be knowledge driven century, so we will focus on this part. We will focus on innovation as well. We will model Total Quality Systems and Processes with CIMpgr. We will also take into account of 18 monozukuri eco-principles. We will work on Green PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), including cross-functional design teams. We are going to develop a IT department and continuously improve the IT and IS. We will focus on our design for green manufacture, assembly, disassembly, remanufacturing and recycling process. Employees training will be performed.
A brief description of the methodologies applied
Our company, Green Ocean, will use the most popular method and model of Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, which is Green, or intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Engineering Model. In Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, which is Green, or intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Engineering Model, it believes that sustainable lean and greening process is a journey, not a destination. We know that it is different for our company to come up some common continuous improvement requirements and risk reduction solutions all the way. The process looks easy and simple, but actually it is very different.
We will use professional object-oriented process modelling methods. They will help and support our engineers and managers in their greening processes following international benchmarks and standards, which is critical to our Green and Sustainability, and Quality Focus. Here is the diagrams show the overall greening systems architecture, as well as our macro level greening process flow, following a well established and validated lean six-sigma statistical quality framework from Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, which is Green, or intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Engineering Model.

We will use varies of methods, such as Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts, to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost.
We will use CIMpgr model to help our system. CIMpgr model is a set of diagrams which systematically illustrate the object-to-object relationships between the objects, their functions and entities. The method we use, which is CIMpgr, is created by Dr. Paul G. Ranky. We, Green Ocean, believe that Total Quality and CIMpgr is one of the best methodology tools. This CIMpgr process model breaks down a project into different processes. It illustrates the controls, resources, inputs and outputs of all aspects of the product/process. Each process is then simplified further by separating all the attributes of the process model. The inputs are all collected to the left side of the process and they are grouped from the most important to the least important. The outputs are grouped to the right side of the system diagram. The resources which are used in the project are grouped at the bottom of the process diagram. Green Ocean and the other four collaborating companies will be the resource end. All the controls of the process model are indicated at the top of the process model.
Process Model
The CIMpgr model we, Green Ocean, are going to use is a set of diagrams which systematically illustrate the object-to-object relationships between the objects, their functions and entities. The method we use, which is CIMpgr, is created by Dr. Paul G. Ranky. The diagrams are often arranged in a layered, tree-like fashion, illustrating a parent-child relationship, which together can be thought of as a collection of carefully coordinated objects, describing a system under investigation, or design. Following the layered approach of decomposing/ identifying objects in a complex system, at the top of the tree there is a very high-level description of the entire system and further down the tree one goes, so the descriptions of the individual parts or objects of the system become more detailed.

Our process model shows three layers of object classes. The first layer (Layer 0) will basic, overall object and it attributes. It contains one process, which is Ao. Subsequent layer (Layer 1) will then dig deeper into the processes and break everything down into one level smaller objects. At this layer, it contains one parallel process, which are A1 and A2, and one sequential process, which are A3, A4 and A5. The objects and their processes are label following a parent-child relationship. At the third layer (Layer 2), it has 3 children of process A1 from layer 1. They A1.1, A1.2, and A1.3. The image below is from the Prof. Paul Ranky’s TQM eBook, who gives a generic illustration of relationship between the layers we will use to mobile our system.
Main Process
The first layer, as the figure displayed below, depicts the overarching process (A0), without any additional decomposition to sub-processes.
The first layer, as the figure displayed below, depicts the overarching process (A0), without any additional decomposition to sub-processes.
The second layer depicts in more detail the processes of smaller children objects. Below is the four processes, A1 through A5. Although the processes progress from one to the next sequentially here, the overall process is iterative due to the multiple feedback loops.
Layer 1 Processes A1 to A5
The third layer goes deeper by explaining the child process under process A3, depicted as processes A3.1 to A3.4. Processes A3.1 and A3.2 are parallel in this layer. They can occur simultaneously, with both outputs becoming inputs for process A3.
Layer 2 Processes A3.1 to A3.3

Panorama Navigation Map
Panoramic navigation map is an innovative map for GREEN mobility and challenges. The example illustrating an area of a small town in New Jersey on the East Coast of the USA. It tries to combine several different viewpoints. It enables an individual, as a sustainable green engineering explorer, to reduce waste and improve energy management. And It also helps an individual, as an eco-tourist, to enjoy the environment and the atmosphere by using this virtual world. It is really user-friendly.
The given case, includes images, videos and interactive talking panoramas illustrating an area. Panorama technology is used for understanding improving various process. In the CIMPgr we use parent child relationship, in the same way in the panorama based process modeling we can have parent process. This child program shows input, output, control and resources. Merging of CIMPgr and Panorama-based process modeling will add up in exploring the data. This will helps us to reduce waste, save time and money and will result in a sustainable growth. We can use these in our company as a part of making it more lean and sustainable. We will use this technology to train our employees. We can also use it to show a person a company or a process. This is very helpful in improving process, which will allow our manufacturers to see this and at the same time, be creative because the panorama gives a better understanding of the visual content. A good picture worths thousand words.
Summary
We will use Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Baldrige National Quality Program. We will also performance TQM review. We work with four other companies to achieve green and lean and sustainable and total quality focus.
Invent and manage:
Green Ocean is a company where continual improvement of the processes is our main objective. Keeping this focus in mind we try to invent innovative ideas and try to motivate our workers to show their creativity to improve the processes by giving them some freedom in work environment. Moreover, hiring process for our company will be based on getting experienced workers in the production line. For improving engineering designs of our products, we use the researches of R&D departments our collaborative companies in their respective areas of expertise. The major concerns of our company are to keep the processes green, following ISO principles and work environment safe for the workers. Other than going out of the way from these concerns, our company will provide complete freedom to its workers, engineers and researchers to come up with ideas to improve any process of the company.
Further Work Needed
We will continuously improve our product and system. We will have further work on international greening approaches and solutions, sustainable green product design standards, sustainable green manufacturing standards, customer requirements analysis, product and process and service system risks, product reuse and green remanufacturing and recycling and reuse, global green supply chains, and keep studying from those international use-cases.There are constantly different ways in which we can improve the quality of our products and service. We have to keep in mind that we are never always at the highest level of quality, since there will always be aspects that will be needed to improve. Further work will include continuously improvement. This will allow us to cut costs and be quality focus, sustainable and green. We will try our best to keep working on making our processes more eco friendly, lean and sustainable.

Article 1 “CPSC to Vote on New Safety Requirements for Magnet Sets”
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) was trying to pass a new quality focus standard for magnet products, which was found dangerous to human health, to improve their safety quality. Magnet products such as “magnet balls” could lead to death when people mistakenly ingest it. The ingestion incident reports had been increasing for several years. A public awareness campaign was launched on November 2011 by CPSC, until then the number of incident reports started to decrease.
"I like the idea that you mentioned on pharmeceutical and food packaging materail safety. Yes not only the daily using objects, but also food and environmental hazard need health consideration. However, not like the food and envitonmental concerns, objects like magnet set are still easily be neglected, and they now should go futher more into human future concerns. In the case, the good thing is that CPSC was going really scientifically with an exact and specific flux limit of each magnet set, in order to easily separate hazard ones from ready-to-use ones." -By Yidi Wang
Article 2 “Surge in Smartphones Spurs Likely M-commerce Boom in Vietnam”
A 16% increasing of smartphone owning population opens the potential ecommerce door for Vietnam. Young generation (age from 16 to 24) is the majority of this population with a 31% increase from 2013. Half of the surveyed customers think that high-tech brings more chances than risk. A quarter of them have at least two high-tech devices. PC is still the most used device for Vietnamese to access to Internet with a rate of 44%. But smartphone is the most used device for them to watch videos with a rate of 78%.
"The info&tech era we are now living in is pushing us into a trendof high-tech and convenience. The statistics in the essay shocked me, remind me of the never-die smartphone company, Apple.Inc. However, this cannot stop me talking about the very recent "Bend Gate" of iPhone6. It is shocking that Apple this time disappointed its customers, and ever became a joke to other competiting companies. From the perspective of TQM, the design process is failure, the design lacks consideration and testing." -By Yidi Wang
Article 3 “Growing in a Healthy Market: Medical Device”
Jürgen Steinbeck is a managing director of Richard Wolf, a medical devices company. He talked about the challenge of setting up in China before, now and future. Culture is one of the big challenges for the company to move to China. Strategy for selling in China is also a big part. The recent strategy has shifted with the establishment of a branch office in Hong Kong. It enables the company to manage its distributors better. The company is trying to move away from its main-distributor model. It is on the way to provide more scope to adapt the strategy to the regional differences within China.
"I agree that Richard Wolf is teaching everyone that the world is changing so fast so we much keep changing and catching up. Also, I would say that expanding business into China is the best decision one could ever madein life. Though cultural difference may challenge, once understood, China has became the top choice for marketing expansion. As time went by, Steinbeck stops the method of cooperating with the only main distributor, but established own braching distibutors. Moreover, the set up of office on the ground organized the distributors everywhere and thus easier to manage, therefore more efficient and cost effective." -By Yidi Wang

I will grade, again, myself with an A+, because I think I deserve it. I love quality focus concept. I still want to improve China better live what professor said. I watched syllabus ahead of time and again and started assignment 1 early. I followed what is required in the syllabus and instruction of assignment 1 in the syllabus. I created the checklist. I read through the 3D text book chapter 3, 4 & 5. I communicated with many classmates about the articles. I pushed myself a lot on the thoughts regarding about the articles. I did more researches. I have been coming to class sitting in front of the class since the first class. I made a beautiful website. I worked hard. Beside, I have 5 course this semester. But I have been putting a lot effort on each one form Sep 1st. I have been getting up 5 am everyday since the first day of Fall semester to read articles. I still eat easy food, fast food to be able to save time and do reading and thinking. I still don't attend any activities in the campus just take advantage of all the time on studying. I learned a lot of TQM. I respect every teacher and professor. I love eco-friendly concept. I love eLearning pack. I still love sustainable and green concept.
Thank you again for your 3D textbook, your eco-friendly focus videos, and ideas. I agree with you and like them.

We will use CIMpgr model to help our system. CIMpgr model is a set of diagrams which systematically illustrate the object-to-object relationships between the objects, their functions and entities. The method we use, which is CIMpgr, is created by Dr. Paul G. Ranky. We have process model, process description, data dictionary.

Self Grade
