Introduction and Objectives of the Project
Green Ocean is going to implement TQM and Process Failure Risk Analysis Modeling (PFRA) to the process, which will help us find risk, identify risk and reduce risk. Process-related Failure Risk Analysis Method (PFRA) is a systematic, rule-based, quantitative and open source computational method developed to identify failure risks, and/or failure processes. It includes objects and components, disassembled sub-assemblies, and their effects on the customers. PFRA is aimed at minimizing dissatisfaction and financial loss for process related failure risks and is applied usually during the planning stages. This is accomplished by using a PFRA/DFRA (Process Failure Risk/ Disassembly Failure Risk) analysis to identify any potentially risky process within our company.
We detail out quality focus procedures. We will establish quality control, and quality principles. We will create a quality system. After that we will follow the national and international standards. we will develop Quality Control in terms of actions we must take in order to allow the product, equipment, software, service, to conform to pre-set standards and policy. We measure actual quality performance, compare it with standards by using Quality Control. Beside that, we will have Quality Assurance, which as defined as a system of activities with the mission to provide an assurance that the overall quality control is in fact being done effectively according to professor Paul. G Ranky. We will set up our Quality System that represents the collective plans, activities and events that are provided to ensure that a product, process, or service will satisfy given needs. In this way, we will be able to achieve the "Zero Defect".
We are a totally eco-friendly and sustainable and green. It helps our customers not only cut cost, rise benefits, increase efficiency, but also bring society benefits without any pollution. Auto Forklift and its system is a quality focused product. All products components will be outsource by each eco-friendly, sustainable and green, and total quality focused subcontractors.
In detail information, we also have a Total Quality Control Subsystems about purchase control, process control, manufacturing information control, operation control, process steps and process capability control, finished products control, measuring instruments and test equipment control, and corrective action control. Our quality system will follow ISO 9000:2000. We will focus on the key elements and areas of responsibilities of quality standards including Management Responsibility, Quality System, Contract Review, Design Control, Document Control, Purchasing, Purchaser Supplied Product, Product Identification and Traceability, Process Control, Inspection and Testing, Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment, Inspection and Test Status, Control of Non-conforming Product, Corrective Action, Handling, Storage, Packing and Delivery of Materials, Quality Records, Internal Quality Audits, Training, Servicing, and, last but not the least, Statistical Techniques.
We use varies of methods, such as Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts, to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and be enrolled in the Baldrige National Quality Program. We will also performance TQM review. We will use Requirement Analysis Spreadsheet and Process-oriented failure Risk Analysis Spreadsheet.
We have Total Quality Control and follow Assurance Principles. We know 21 century is be knowledge driven century, so we will focus on this part. We focus on innovation as well. We will model Total Quality Systems and Processes with CIMpgr. We will also take into account of 18 monozukuri eco-principles. We will work on Green PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), including cross-functional design teams. We are going to develop a IT department and continuously improve the IT and IS. We focus on our design for green manufacture, assembly, disassembly, remanufacturing and recycling process. Employees training will be performed.
A brief description of the methodologies applied
Our company used the Process-related Failure Risk Analysis Method (PFRA) method. It is a Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS) method, aimed at minimizing dissatisfaction, and financial loss for process related failure risks. By understanding the problems our company may face during production of our products as well as the risk of each process that may impact our products, we are able to optimize the process, minimize wastes, and meet customer needs. PFRA helps the TQM-focused engineering team to work through an analytical, quantitative, open-source computational model, to understand the problems process planning engineers, line managers and process operators face, then see the solutions they have come up with, and then apply the learned problem solving skills to other.
We also used Control charts to play critical roles in the quality control process and in the procedures. It provides assurance of companies to manufacture high quality products. Statistical process control charts help us to set up mistake proof processes, develop upstream process controls, contribute to process and product redesign. As a result, it helps to monitor and keeps the processes under continuous control. The process of out-of-control condition should always be investigated. Then we should have corrective action, which is must. Manager must identify, control the sources of variation, take corrective action, and document these actions when the processes are not capable of being guided back to optimum control limits, which is the most challenging task in this area. Green Ocean utilizes variable charts and attribute charts, such as Xbar-chart, R-chart, p-chart and c-chart, to analyze problems in my company and develop the solutions to make sure that Green Ocean is manufacturing high quality green products.
Green Ocean have used the most popular method and model of Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, which is Green, or intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Engineering Model in the previous assignment. In Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, it believes that sustainable lean and greening process is a journey, not a destination. We know that it is different for our company to come up some common continuous improvement requirements and risk reduction solutions all the way. The process looks easy and simple, but actually it is very different. We have used professional object-oriented process modelling methods. They help and support our engineers and managers in their greening processes following international benchmarks and standards, which is critical to our Green and Sustainability, and Quality Focus.
To ensure that we will meet the needs and requirements of our customers, we will analyze requirements, determine their relative importance. We will also evaluate our system to meet them to make sure that our system is better than what other competitors provide. Component-Oriented Requirements Analysis (CORA) will be performed. We will use CORA to evaluate the correlation between the user requirements and available engineering solution. The next step we will subjectively evaluate how well we meet the most important requirements relative to our competitors. Last but not the least, we will evaluate the results and implement changes where necessary.
Main Body of the project
We will focus on my 5th company, and specifically on Process A4 (System Implementation Process). I have identified 12 process steps that are potentially risky. Then I have populated a PFRA spreadsheet based on Professor Ranky’s template. There is only one high risk based of the Accumulated RPN. If the Accumulated RPN is >200, risks are assessed as high level. In our case the Associated RPN was 221.76 for the alignment of the channels that each hanging shelf moves in. The effect of misaligned channels would be that the movement of the shelves would be hindered. The severity rating was 7, which means that it would have a major effect. The detection rating was 6, which means that detection of the failure is low. The occurrence rating was 4, which means that occurrence is slight. This gave an RPN of 168. The tooling factor (1.2) and requirements factor (1.1) raised the Accumulated RPN to the before mention 221.76. This risk requires immediate action. I would refine the process of aligning the channels and provide additional training to the technicians to mitigate this risk. One other risk, although not technically considered a high risk, would also need more attention. There is an Accumulated RPN of 92.16 for the risk that the controlling software is not operable. Although the occurrence rating of this is remote, the severity rating means it would have a severe effect. Additionally this would lead to customer dissatisfaction as indicated by the requirements factor. Our software engineers will need to keep a close eye on this so it does not delay final handoff to the customer.
Process Failure Risk Analysis
Once the PFRA spreadsheet is completed our team performs the analysis of results. We identify the risky processes and discuss with our partners how such risky process steps could be eliminated, or changed, or reduced to minimize the risk. In many cases the PFRA results will point to a process step, or a set of processes in the CIMpgr process model. Then if needed we analyze the process statistically, as well as figure out how badly that risky process is actually required by the customer. We will be using PFRA model to identify the process failure risks that may occur during the assembly of our sustainable green turbochargers. Our engineers first list out all involved process-steps and analyzed them for potential failures and their involved risks. We have identified 10 real process-steps involved in the production of the turbochargers. All the tools, fixtures, etc., that are used and all the parts that are retrieved from process-step, are listed in the spreadsheet along with the execution time of each process, cost incurred on executing each process. Moreover, each failure mode is rated between 1-10 in terms of its severity level, likelihood of its detection and probability of its occurrence. Likewise, the factors that might involve in the failure mode are also rated between1-10. At the end, the effects of each process failure risk on other processes, parts and product characteristics are listed.
The PFRA analysis indicates that the process/product design team should concentrate on the higher Risk Priority Number (RPN) first. The RPN, the prime indicator for risk detection, indicates which causes and effects to trace back and try to eliminate. When the final design of the product is finalized, raw materials to be used along with their suppliers are validated. The procedure for accepting the raw material is to quarantine it and check for specification before accepting it. There may be a possibility that the raw material received is incorrect or is out of specification. Further designing of the Auto Forklift is a very vital stage in the manufacturing process as it involves various safety and quality standards and it has to be approved by FDA and quality agencies. There may be a fault in the design, which may not meet the market needs or may not pass the quality and safety standards. Also the proper assembly depends on the right labeling and proper training of our employees. This is really important because here might be risk involved if it is not done correctly. All of the above mentioned process steps had a certain failure mode in one way or the other and they are analyzed in the PFRA spreadsheet. Once the process and their steps were analyzed for the failure modes, the quality and management team came up with the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) for the above process and their steps. We will also seek help from the collaborative companies in order to reduce the risks involved in various stages of the process. All failure modes regardless of the RPN Rating underwent a corrective action.
Corrective and Preventive actions taken to reduce the risks:
It is very important to realize, that having developed the PFRA spreadsheet itself does not complete the risk analysis exercise. The real challenge, as always, is how a team interprets the results, and what the action plan is after the analysis. The main objective is to identify the risky processes and explain your team how risky processes could be eliminated, or changed, or reduced to minimize the risk. We will seek help from its collaborative companies in performing the identified TQM improvement processes to reduce the risks.
Each Failure Mode and Effect was rated within the criteria of 1 – 10 for Severity, Detection and Occurrence which then built the Risk Priority Number (RPN).
In order to reduce the risk associated with this process, the company will work with engineering team/cross functional teams who have new ideas/new fields of expertise. These teams of intelligent people are experts in the area of assisting with the design of our product, so it will be a wise decision for us to hire them for our designing needs. Further to reduce the risks associated with other various processes, the quality and management of the company has analyzed the PFRA spreadsheet as above.
We will seek help from its collaborative companies in performing the identified TQM improvement processes to reduce the risks. The main source of the raw materials comes from one of our collaborating companies. So the management has decided to seek help from the collaborative companies in performing the improved process to reduce risks. There are research scientists/engineers/cross functional teams we could work with to validate the design of the product. So to minimize the risk involved with the design of the Turbochargers, we will have engineering managers on our advisory board in order to give their expert opinions. This will definitely help our company in reducing the risks involved with those processes. For example, recycled materials which will be provided by Sunnen collaborating company will immensely help Green Ocean as it helps reduce waste and being eco-friendly. This will also help our company to Go-Green as our company will avoid using new or raw material. This decision of using them for our material chosen process is one of our major decisions the company has made, this is because the company’s main objective is to offer green, sustainable, reliable product to the customer. These will let us to keep a track of the using material and thereby plan the production accordingly to reduce the unfriendly material related risks.
Furthermore, Green Ocean ourselves being a manufacturing company, we have a software to track the calibration due date of various instruments used. We shall license this software in order to implement the same tracking software to reduce any lapse in calibrating the instruments and devices which are important for the storage of raw materials and environmental atmosphere and conditions should be proper.
RPN (Risk Priority Number) & accumulated RPN calculations helps in prioritizing potential failures by determining overall risk of each failure. From our spreadsheet, it is observed that the processes “Design for Manufacturability” and “Fatigue Analysis of Springs” were marked as ‘high’, meaning the overall risk of each of those process failures were high.

Collaboration will my four partner companies will be vital to this process. SpeedCell will be provide the materials and expertise for the shelf units, accounting for five of the twelve identified risky process steps. Sunnen will provide many of the materials and expertise for the movement of the shelves, accounting for three risky process steps. Applied Energy Solutions will provide the batteries and expertise to power the system, accounting for one of the risky process steps. Final, the Automate 2015 expo will give us an opportunity to gather additional feedback from current and potential customers that could help us identify further requirements and risks.
Sustainable greening has always been a focus of our company. Our purpose is to provide a way for delivery companies to save time and fuel costs by making their deliveries more efficient. We use eco-friendly textile shelving, energy saving lithium ion batteries, and provide customers with a way to deliver more products with less trips thereby saving fuel consumption. Sustainable greening is everyone’s responsibility, and at Warehouse on Wheels we take that responsibility to heart.
5. eLearning Pack Videos
1) I-BeamRoller-Quality
These products are poor produced. I believe that they will never be able to meet any customer's satisfaction. We should do something to control it in order to enable that these kind of thing will never be seen in any manufacturer anymore. It is achievable if we use the knowledge of TQM. The video reminds me that my ideas is correct. My company will not operate under lack of quality assurance, which is critical to the success of product. I will make sure that the concept and idea of TQM will be fully understand and followed in Green Ocean. We know that products with good quality and customer satisfaction is the main goal of Green Ocean. The video used I-beam roller to give an example of poor quantity. The pin is pushed too much. Thus the roller is stuck. And causes slicing instead of moving. All of these cause too much variation. The problem due to low cost. With the bad material, the product will easily don't function well.
2) Marc-Bauman-Interview
This is about an interview of Marc Bauman. He is the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sam’s Tour. Sam's Tours has found on being sustainable and green. They started to sue re-usable containers and bottles to eliminate any plastic trash during lunch and meal time. Sam’s Tours is Palau’s premier scuba diving and eco-adventure company. They really focus on Excellent customer care, personalized attention, and professional service. All of these enable Sam’s Tours to become a 5-star Dive Center. In this interview, Marc Bauman talks about his company implementations of sustainable green concepts. The most challenging things in his company is that how to deal with the social network and mutually beneficial supplier relationship. Cultural challenges are also a huge problem in his company, like Japanese and Chinese. Another problem is the financial limit and constraint. They have also collaborated with others on the island to preserve the environment and attract more tourist. Any company in the industry should learn from Sam's Tours for their sustainability and green, but satisfying customers and applying TQM at the same time. Sam's Tours is one of the best example who is making use of the beauty of nature but protect the nature at the same time. a lot of effort they are doing help a lot on preserving local marine life, land system etc.
3) MINI-Quality-ViPodLx
The other measuring system is a combination of laser and camera. Both systems have good tolerance which are able to tell if any variations happened, and are able to stop the process if goes wrong. The Total Quality Control system demonstrated in the video is emphasizing the importance of measurement and precision in an assembly process, in the order of eliminating quality errors and defects. The video shows two different measuring systems, one is the offline measurement, where a forklift robot can measure by using probes. The design of the car body demonstrates a good example of good quality, the entire line up issue is a big challenge but the quality still looks amazing. The process is not allowing any defects and it is not hard to tell that all the employees are responsible and doing precise work on assembly. To meet customer satisfaction, the company is doing great job on quality inspection, the inspector inspects the body of the car on a daisy base to ensure the quality. This ensure my idea that the inspection process of my company should be further developed for continual improvements in the process. Huge improvements can be made in my company in terms of eliminating errors and defects, in this way can also increase productivity.
4) NotGreen-Generator-Challenges
As I mentioned here that eh generator is near a nature surrounding, thus causing potentially hazard to the land marine environment. The situation present in the video is saying caution to all the companies in all industry. As a result, my company will assure the safety of working environment and will not produce danger and hazard to the environment. The video demonstrates an example of not green TQM controlled generator. As we can see from the video, the generator is operated under poor safety process, all the connections are poorly installed and we can see cables everywhere on the ground which is really dangerous. We can see living houses around the poor safety environment can cause danger and toxic to human. Also, I did not see anything sustainable and green, the process is build near the lake/sea, which I do not think obey the law or regulations, the overall process looked unkempt and it is hard to relate it with green and sustainability.
5) OKUMA-LeanCells-ViPodLx
The TQM representative is also responsible for the sustainable process control where the robot measuring the center line the doing holes for the aluminum wheels and create a manufacture record. The whole process system is worth studying and effectiveness of the robot made the operation sustainable. This video demonstrates the process of producing aluminum wheels. The most interesting part of the whole process is the the quality control is performed by the robot. The robot providing cycle data and collaborating with the machine simultaneous where the machine perform a serial. The production rate is surprisingly high with a 40 wheels/hour where everything has to start in the inbound conveyor. The process is also a partnership with other companies working together to produce another product.
6) Palau-M2012-LongLake-Kayaking
The third thing that I believe is critical is sustainability and green of the whole travel process especially the kayaking part. As we can see from the video, Sam's Tours is a company that provides tour service to tourists under the theme of keep green. Kayaking basically has no any toxic or harmful effect to the ocean or the marine life. It is also not hard to tell that the amount of people allowed one time is small and restricted so that the Eco-system of Longlake will not be broken so fast. The film was produced by Dr. Ranky, of the experience at Pacific Island of Palau, records the Longlake kayaking tour. There are mainly three things needed to be emphasized in this video regarding to TQM. First first and the most important aspect is safety. As we can see from the video, the whole process of travel went through safely under a quiet and safe environment. When customers are on the boat the instructions of safety were thought and we can tell there are safety equipment prepared on the boat. The second thing worth discussing is the customer service. As we can see that the Caption and the Tour Guide were nice to the tourists, patiently explaining and answering questions, and carefully providing safety instructions. I would like to say Thank You to Dr.Ranky for such a sophisticated film and telling us how beautiful is the nature and how important it is to stay sustainable and green.
7) PeterRayson_IntellEnterprise
The execution and coordination of tons of people involving in the process make it hard. The big challenge is the co-existence of enormous amount of people, massive data and globalization, which push the industry play flexible and moving forward rapidly. It is a love&hate industry, and the global economy is restricting but pushing the industry. A lot more testing is required as time went by since tools became digital and precision is a must. The future of the industry require the best solution within shortest time, but the best quality. Some IT companies filed because they did not know how to break massive things down into work packages. Peter Rayson has been working in the aerospace industry for a long time. The video shot by Dr.Ranky discusses the intelligent enterprise design of the aerospace machine and systems in the industry in UK. Rayson found used to work on aircraft engine and modeling systems and found it is important to gather and analyze quantitative data. He mentions that years ago the trpical life cycle would be 15-20 years, which is a really long and tedious process. However it only takes about 4 years now of a life cycle of aircraft production. Rayson is in his Boeing 777 program which has a life cycle change from 7 years to 4 year, all the changes due to the innovation and spread of massive amount of data.
But there exist pressure, not only to the organization, but also engineers.
8) RAMPF-RoboticSealing-ViPodLx
The good thing that we see during the process is the cleaning of chamber by robot itself. The robot has to clean its chamber after each cycle of filling, gives a good tolerance. Roger Schmidt is the sales manager in the industry of gasketing, sealing and encapsulating. The video shot by Dr. Ranky shows the lean, robic adhesive processing. The whole process provides customers who requires huge amount of product because the process is going under automation, the robot is working everyday. The robot is able to provide perfect start and stop position therefore gives perfect precision. The process is not possible to be finished by labor because it is a contour Forklift part. Also, another thing good that shows good TQM control is the control of temperature, pressure and everything. The process has to keep everything the same in each round to make sure they always have the same product with tiny variation or quality defects. They also have their own designed system to control the material.
Collaboration
We used the Control charts to play critical roles in the quality control process and in the procedures. Then we will have further work with Sunnen, Nuvera, Auto 2015.
All products components will be outsource by each eco-friendly, sustainable and green, and total quality focused subcontractors, such as SEW Company, who will be the provider of all customized drive components, Nuvera Company, who provides the best eco-friendly Hydrogen fuel cell, Sunnen Company, who meet our specialized sustainable and green honing and rilling requirements, and Automate 2015, who is not only the critical information of green and sustainable focused and total quality focused subcontractors provider, but also the organization for us to promote our quality and green focused product within a sustainable and green and quality focused manner. CORA, and the related methods discussed, will help us focus our team on quality. First and foremost, it keeps the focus on the customers and what they need. It involves all people on the team. It is not just done once and then set aside, but rather should be iterative to foster continual improvement. It helps us make decisions based on facts, data, and analysis. Finally, it shows us how our collaboration can mutually benefit our suppliers and us.
Based on what we have analyzed here, we are confident in our choice to collaborate with SpeedCell to develop lightweight textile shelves for our mobile application. We will work with Sunnen to design the system to control the movement of the shelves in the delivery trucks. Nuvera will provide the Hydrogen power needed to run the system, and based on this analysis will help us develop a greener charging system. Our design will be introduced to potential buyers at Automate 2015 in March. to design the system to control the movement of the Auto Forklift
Summary
We used the Control charts to play critical roles in the quality control process and in the procedures.
We used Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. We have learned more about how to provide a quality product to our customers. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Baldrige National Quality Program.
We saw where we were providing a better product than our competitors, and more importantly where we can continue to improve. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will also performance TQM review. We will use Requirement Analysis Spreadsheet and Process-oriented failure Risk Analysis Spreadsheet. We will have Total Quality Control and follow Assurance Principles. We know 21 century is be knowledge driven century, so we will focus on this part. We will focus on innovation as well. We will model Total Quality Systems and Processes with CIMpgr.
Panorama Navigation Map
The given case, includes images, videos and interactive talking panoramas illustrating an area. Panorama technology is used for understanding improving various process. In the CIMPgr we use parent child relationship, in the same way in the panorama based process modeling we can have parent process. This child program shows input, output, control and resources. Merging of CIMPgr and Panorama-based process modeling will add up in exploring the data. This will helps us to reduce waste, save time and money and will result in a sustainable growth. We can use these in our company as a part of making it more lean and sustainable. We will use this technology to train our employees. We can also use it to show a person a company or a process. This is very helpful in improving process, which will allow our manufacturers to see this and at the same time, be creative because the panorama gives a better understanding of the visual content. A good picture worths thousand words.
Panoramic navigation map is an innovative map for GREEN mobility and challenges. The example illustrating an area of a small town in New Jersey on the East Coast of the USA. It tries to combine several different viewpoints. It enables an individual, as a sustainable green engineering explorer, to reduce waste and improve energy management. And It also helps an individual, as an eco-tourist, to enjoy the environment and the atmosphere by using this virtual world. It is really user-friendly.
Further Work Needed
Continuously improving our product and system is our goal and task. We will have further work on international greening approaches and solutions, sustainable green product design standards, sustainable green manufacturing standards, customer requirements analysis, product and process and service system risks, product reuse and green remanufacturing and recycling and reuse, global green supply chains, and keep studying from those international use-cases.There are constantly different ways in which we can improve the quality of our products and service. We have to keep in mind that we are never always at the highest level of quality, since there will always be aspects that will be needed to improve. Further work will include continuously improvement. This will allow us to cut costs and be quality focus, sustainable and green. We will try our best to keep working on making our processes more eco friendly, lean and sustainable.

Article 1 “ACME Solar Wins Another Round Of Solar Auctions In India”
The Solar energy market in India grows rapidly according to the article. ACME Solar is one of those companies that are lining up their business plans to take full advantage of this impending revolution. ACME has a cumulative solar power capacity of 502 MW commissioned or under development and plans to have an installed capacity of 1,000 MW by 2017.
This reminds me of the solar energy market in China. The market was once exciting in China. But it suddenly crashed. Chinese enterprises were once not confident in the market anymore. In my opinion, the next era must be the renewable energies that are ecofriendly one. So those who aim on this area and continuously developing this market will lead in the future.
Lots of cities all over the world are struggling to fulfil the demand for electricity. However, the generation of electrcity is necessary to be GREEN and SUSTAINABLE, solar power thus became popular. ACME solar company has already being successful as it comissioned several projects all over the country in India, and covered a total of 502MW solar energy develpoment. The world actually needs companies like ACME, who is ambitious to do huge projects for the whole country but still have future plan to make it more green and eco-friendly. I also believe that not only India, but also countries like China and USA are making effort to generate electricity by using solar power.
Article 2 “Biggest Solar Power Plant In Africa Now Online — 96 MW Jasper Power Project Awakens”
A largest solar power plant in the whole of Africa was online. The project was developed and financed by many companies and organizations. It is part of the broader South African Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Program. With the completion of the project, it brings South Africa closer to its relatively ambitious goal of possessing 18 GW of renewable energy capacity by the year 2030.
Renewable energy in Africa is under developing rapidly. China has tons of enterprisers going into this area. It reminds me of my father’s business in renewable energy. The renewable energy in Africa has great potential for further developing, just like another China 50 years ago. There are tons of opportunities over there. I will maybe graduated and go back to my father’s business to help its business.
This is another example about solar power in a different country—Africa, so we can see what important green and sustainability is. This article told us that an important South African project was announced last year and is completed and expected to deliver around 180,000 MW hours of renewable electricity annually. This project helps limit the scope of the power shortages that have been affecting South African as of late. What an exciting news. This project not only helps South Africa solve energy problem, but also gives other countries successful case to solve similar problems.
Article 3 “Bright Source Partnering With Shanghai Electric To Build CSP Projects For Huanghe”
Bright Source Energy partnered with Shanghai Electric Group Company to form a new joint venture that will focus on building utility-scale CSP power plants in China. The first two projects have been already lined up. They will be expected to begin construction sometime next year and be completed and online by 2017.
Companies in China start working together for the green energy market. Renewable energies are getting poplar in China. It reminds me that opportunities are opened for us young people, especial me with my father’s factory.
As the CEO of BrightSource Energy stated, concentrated solar thermal power with integrated thermal energy storage is a cost effective way to bring reliable, dispatchable renewable energy to the grid today. Rather saying this cooperation is a venture, we can actually see its success and future development as well as further collaboration. The international collaboration is always wise not only to make full use of resources from each other, but also learn from each other and making progress together for both country. This is definitely a mile stone for both comany especially BrightSource Energy, as this cooperation will lead it to become a global technology provider.

I will grade absolutely myself with an A+. I followed exactly from the syllabus and checked each task. I made sure that I have everything included. So I think I deserve A+. Besides I love quality focus concept. I want to improve China better place for living like what professor said. I read syllabus ahead of time and again and started assignment 4 early. I followed what is required in the syllabus and instruction of assignment 4 in the syllabus. I created the assignment 4 checklist. I read through the 3D text book chapters. I communicated with many classmates, such as Yidi Wang, Jia Wang, about the articles. I pushed myself a lot on the thoughts regarding about the articles. I did more researches. I have been coming to class sitting in front of the class since the first class. I made a beautiful website. I worked hard. I love sustainable and green concept. For all those facts above, I will grade myself obviously A+.
Thank you again for your leading and latest methods, your useful indeed templates, and assignments. I agree with you and like them.

Self Grade
