Introduction and Objectives of the Project
Green Ocean is a totally eco-friendly and sustainable and green. It helps our customers not only cut cost, rise benefits, increase efficiency, but also bring society benefits without any pollution. Auto Forklift and its system is a quality focused product. All products components will be outsource by each eco-friendly, sustainable and green, and total quality focused subcontractors.
is going to implement TQM and Process Failure Risk Analysis Modeling (PFRA) to the process, which will help us find risk, identify risk and reduce risk. Process-related Failure Risk Analysis Method (PFRA) is a systematic, rule-based, quantitative and open source computational method developed to identify failure risks, and/or failure processes. It includes objects and components, disassembled sub-assemblies, and their effects on the customers. PFRA is aimed at minimizing dissatisfaction and financial loss for process related failure risks and is applied usually during the planning stages. This is accomplished by using a PFRA/DFRA (Process Failure Risk/ Disassembly Failure Risk) analysis to identify any potentially risky process within our company.
We detail out quality focus procedures. We will establish quality control, and quality principles. We will create a quality system. After that we will follow the national and international standards. we will develop Quality Control in terms of actions we must take in order to allow the product, equipment, software, service, to conform to pre-set standards and policy. We measure actual quality performance, compare it with standards by using Quality Control. Beside that, we will have Quality Assurance, which as defined as a system of activities with the mission to provide an assurance that the overall quality control is in fact being done effectively according to professor Paul. G Ranky. We will set up our Quality System that represents the collective plans, activities and events that are provided to ensure that a product, process, or service will satisfy given needs. In this way, we will be able to achieve the "Zero Defect".
In detail information, we also have a Total Quality Control Subsystems about purchase control, process control, manufacturing information control, operation control, process steps and process capability control, finished products control, measuring instruments and test equipment control, and corrective action control. Our quality system will follow ISO 9000:2000. We will focus on the key elements and areas of responsibilities of quality standards including Management Responsibility, Quality System, Contract Review, Design Control, Document Control, Purchasing, Purchaser Supplied Product, Product Identification and Traceability, Process Control, Inspection and Testing, Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment, Inspection and Test Status, Control of Non-conforming Product, Corrective Action, Handling, Storage, Packing and Delivery of Materials, Quality Records, Internal Quality Audits, Training, Servicing, and, last but not the least, Statistical Techniques.
We use varies of methods, such as Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts, to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and be enrolled in the Baldrige National Quality Program. We will also performance TQM review. We will use Requirement Analysis Spreadsheet and Process-oriented failure Risk Analysis Spreadsheet.
We have Total Quality Control and follow Assurance Principles. We know 21 century is be knowledge driven century, so we will focus on this part. We focus on innovation as well. We will model Total Quality Systems and Processes with CIMpgr. We will also take into account of 18 monozukuri eco-principles. We will work on Green PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), including cross-functional design teams. We are going to develop a IT department and continuously improve the IT and IS. We focus on our design for green manufacture, assembly, disassembly, remanufacturing and recycling process. Employees training will be performed.
A brief description of the methodologies applied
Our company used the Process-related Failure Risk Analysis Method (PFRA) method. It is a Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS) method, aimed at minimizing dissatisfaction, and financial loss for process related failure risks. By understanding the problems our company may face during production of our products as well as the risk of each process that may impact our products, we are able to optimize the process, minimize wastes, and meet customer needs. PFRA helps the TQM-focused engineering team to work through an analytical, quantitative, open-source computational model, to understand the problems process planning engineers, line managers and process operators face, then see the solutions they have come up with, and then apply the learned problem solving skills to other.
We also used Control charts to play critical roles in the quality control process and in the procedures. It provides assurance of companies to manufacture high quality products. Statistical process control charts help us to set up mistake proof processes, develop upstream process controls, contribute to process and product redesign. As a result, it helps to monitor and keeps the processes under continuous control. The process of out-of-control condition should always be investigated. Then we should have corrective action, which is must. Manager must identify, control the sources of variation, take corrective action, and document these actions when the processes are not capable of being guided back to optimum control limits, which is the most challenging task in this area. Green Ocean utilizes variable charts and attribute charts, such as Xbar-chart, R-chart, p-chart and c-chart, to analyze problems in my company and develop the solutions to make sure that Green Ocean is manufacturing high quality green products.
Green Ocean have used the most popular method and model of Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, which is Green, or intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Engineering Model in the previous assignment. In Ranky's Integrated Sustainable iSEE, it believes that sustainable lean and greening process is a journey, not a destination. We know that it is different for our company to come up some common continuous improvement requirements and risk reduction solutions all the way. The process looks easy and simple, but actually it is very different. We have used professional object-oriented process modelling methods. They help and support our engineers and managers in their greening processes following international benchmarks and standards, which is critical to our Green and Sustainability, and Quality Focus.
To ensure that we will meet the needs and requirements of our customers, we will analyze requirements, determine their relative importance. We will also evaluate our system to meet them to make sure that our system is better than what other competitors provide. Component-Oriented Requirements Analysis (CORA) will be performed. We will use CORA to evaluate the correlation between the user requirements and available engineering solution. The next step we will subjectively evaluate how well we meet the most important requirements relative to our competitors. Last but not the least, we will evaluate the results and implement changes where necessary.

Web-Steamed Videos
RFID-Clip 1w.mov
This video is part of a series of “An introduction to RFID: Radio Frequency Identification Methods & Applications”. It gives a basic information about RFID tags. It also describes different kinds of RFID tags. It shows that how the technology differentiates from a bar-code. It shows Tim Rhodes from Northrop Grumman. It displays some active and passive RFID tags, and RFID readers and processors. Form that I know that tags can hold lots of information (up to 32 KB) about the object it is attached to. And with the technique, it requires no human intervention to read versus a barcode. It illustrates the use of RFID technology can help the activities and processes of your business highly traceable. The active tag stores 32 K worth of data. And it has a transmitter and their own power source. It can last up to 2 years. The active tag with battery unit has a battery in it that goes on a container with a pallet or a shipping container. And the batteries last but it depends on the amount of usage such as between 6-13 years active read, 4-5 times a month. The passive tag stores 8 K worth of data.
RFID-Clip 2w. mov
This video is about Dan Mahoney of HK Systems. It illustrates how the RFID technology is used on existing material flows and shows tagging lines running simultaneously. And it also illustrate that the use of RFID technology can help the activities and processes of your business highly traceable. RFID systems have been deployed in manufacturing to track the movement of raw material. And it can also control the movement of raw material that comes in. We know that the RFID is able to captures information in real time with zero error. With RFID we will be able to write information to the actual tag. It has an unique serial number identifier that can goes along with the tag. With the help of RFID, there is not opportunity for human error in miss scan or lost tag anymore. And RFID has a lot of advantages.
EMS-RFID-Clip1&2
These two videos also illustrate that the use of RFID technology can help the activities and processes of your business highly traceable. The demonstrator in the EMS shows that using RFID to read and write to the tag as items go by on a conveyor. It was referred as a moving database. Mentioned in the videos, the use of RFID (Radio Frequency identification) tags can be integrated as a continual improvement method for process modeling. It will have many benefits to various processes. Both of them show that how their system needs to connect with a variety of manufacturing floor computers, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and networks. RFID eliminates the need to update a barcode tag every time the item enters or exits a certain process. Management team can read tons of RFID tags at the same time. And that will considerably increase the traceability of items.
Part 1 (RFID)
The RFID technology could be applied in many areas in my company of Green Ocean. It can prove beneficial to my company. While collaborating with other companies, Green Ocean will need many components being shipped from other supply company. RFID would help us to keep track of those components shipped from other companies. By using this technique, we would be able to see immediately when they were shipped, arrived, and stored. Green Ocean then would be able to trace auto forklift components from Sunnen, Hydrogen power from Nuvera, and drives from SEW-EURODRIVE. RFID helps keeping record of our production schedules and inventory. RFID could be applied in many other ways not only within my process but other areas.
I will apply it in my previous work. Customer Needs was the first input to my parent model (I1A0). I believe that some of the customer needs will be the ability to quickly and accurate make deliveries to customers. To improve it, I have added resource R6A0 (RFID) to the model because I think RFID will provide a better solution than the other one has been using.

To improve it, I have added resource R6A0 (RFID) to the model because I think RFID will provide a better solution than the other one has been using.
I also improve my Component Oriented Requirements Analysis (CORA). I used QR code scanning for the engineering solution. I added RFID technique. It helps improving my products ability of meeting important customer requirements, such as increasing accuracy of order deliver, decreasing time spent at each delivery stop, and improving scheduling and tracking.
I identified a couple risks that RFID could help avoid in Process Failure Risk Analysis (PFRA), such as incorrect QR code assignments. RFID would eliminate the human error by automatically writing the correct data to the RFID tag. Another risk identified was wrong software used for the customers’ auto forklift. With the help of RFID being used in Green Ocean and the companies we collaborate with, we will be able to avoid tons of problems. Click the picture to see the original excel
Part 2 (Quality Audit)
Review of all previous assignments to have the BIG picture:
Assignment 0
In assignment 0, I created my own virtual company by collaborating with four other companies. I focused on sustainable, eco-friendly green aspects and engineering. I used TQM E-book, videos from Professor Ranky as the resource for my company to apply. I developed a new quality product, process, and service. All of them are based on these requirements from the resource. My company is Green Ocean, a auto Forklift manufacturing company. Then, I used the TQM dimensions and ISO9001: 2008 to be the principles of my company for its daily operation and strategy director.
Assignment 1
In the assignment 1, I created my company’s modular, the object-oriented TQM system model/ process model by using CIMpgr. All the information and techniques were based on chapters 3, 4 and 5 of the TQM eBook of Professor Ranky. Also I used the process model templates in the eBook. And I made my own designs too by using Visio software creating graphics, flow charts, model processing. CIMpgr and its detailed illustration in a layered fashion helped Green Ocean in many processes in several ways, such as in design, analysis, and implementation of our product. This methodology helped us in systematically designing the whole process. I broke the process into component process/objects and identified the inputs, outputs, resources, and controls for each process. By changing the inputs into outputs, we created more values, such as improving on cycle time, reducing failure rate, increasing robustness and reducing cost. It enabled us to analyze, specify, implement, monitor and integrate our processes and to contribute lot in achieving our objective. It was also applied in working with our collaborative companies and engineering teams. It helps us in better learning and understanding of our processes.
Assignment 2
During assignment 2, I developed CORA sustainable green TQM requirements model using the CORA Excel Template in the TQM 3DeBook according to chapters 6, 7 and 8 of the ebook. CORA method was very useful for Green Ocean to satisfy the customers’ requirements and improve efficiency by addressing any customer’s needs helping us to understand specific requirements of customers in a better way. I understood using the excel templates. Base on the CIMpgr I created in the previous assignment, I captured the main process and identified the customers requirements and engineering solutions, which can make my company more efficient and green sustainable. All these can guarantee the customer’s satisfaction. Moreover, the value of the matrix is the section of importance rating. We worked on satisfying requirements. I listed three top AIR values for analysis and these three are what my company should improve and base on during the working. Then, I made my EM decisions to improve my company and service level. The lower AIR values followed the same process. These ratings helped us to identify the most important engineering solutions from a perspective of our customers. Meanwhile, it also helped us identify the demand on which Green Ocean should invest. This technique contributed on taking, assessing and discussing appropriate actions and finding feasible engineering solutions with the team.
Assignment 3
The methodology in this assignment is really useful and helpful. I used control charts for process improvement and process control methods. It supports the quality of the entire process in my company. I learned the basics of control charts for variables and attributes and related software tools. I also understood the importance of improving our processes and quality systems. It helps avoiding out-of-control processes. It also can reduce variation and secure elimination of variability in process by means of timely statistical trend analysis. I received the support from QC department in detecting such tendencies. Control Charts helps eliminating the chances that could lead to huge process failures and monetary losses. I used the X-bar chart, R-chart, P-chart and C-chart. I also learnt analyzing the data using these control charts and detect when the process is out of control. By using all of these helps us to know immediately when the process is, or not, conforming to the specifications. Last but not the least, I learned as well how to bring the process back to control by doing necessary root cause analysis.
Assignment 4
Green Ocean's focus engineering team worked through an analytical, quantitative, open-source computational model. During this process, we understood the problems process planning engineers, line managers and process operators face. After that, we found out solutions, applied learned problem solving skills to other new challenges. With the help of occurrence, severity and detection rating learnt from this methodology, we categorize those processes and their steps on the basis of risk associated with them. Our team uses these values to calculate accumulated Risk Priority Number which is a prime indicator for risk detection. The highest value indicates that corrective actions are needed. Identifying the risky processes and rating them and improving them help us to make our entire process more sustainable.
How could you apply the learned methods and tools in this course to improve your own company (i.e. the 5th company)?
Auditing is an essential process that helps continuous quality improvement which includes TQM principles, ISO standards, environmental concern, innovation and dedication towards green engineering which are implemented in the foundation of Green Ocean. The Auditing encourages overall performance improvement processes as a permanent, long-term, continuous and sustainable objective of an organization. Audits can be conducted for internal or external purposes. Audits help to implement and enforce the continual improvement principle for the organization, to encourage overall performance improvement processes as a permanent, long-term, continuous objective of the organization.
We know that it is so important to have continuous improvement. Green Ocean engineer managers will work on it. We believe that Quality audits are essential to this. Audits have to be systematic and independent. An auditor or audit team must be independent in order to maintain objectivity while reviewing processes, which does not necessarily mean that auditors have to be from outside of your organization. Internal audits are an effective. It can help us to make sure that the right procedures and processes are in place. And it can also help us to make sure that our employees are following them. Auditors will come from a separate department in order to avoid being directly responsible for the activity they are auditing to remain independent. Then, Green Ocean will outline seven stages.
It is important to answer the following questions while planning audits:
Who should be audited?
Each department that is responsible for a process in the organization should be audited.
WHY should they be audited?
They should be audited so that we know if the processes are right, and that the procedures are being followed. This is essential for continuous improvement.
What type of audit should be conducted?
For my company, we will be conducting internal audits.
What should be the depth and scope of these audits?
The scope and depth of these audits will include every sub-process that is documented in our process models.
When should the audit take place?
The initial audits will take place in January to allow improvements prior to the MODEX 2014 expo in March. Subsequent audits will take place annually or as needed, determined by me.
Who will perform the audit?
The audits will be performed by an internal audit team from a department not directly associated with the activities being audited.
Is the audit schedule prepared?
To allow adequate preparation by both the audit team and the auditee, schedules will be posted at least one month prior to all audits.
Addressing Auditing Issues
The audit team consisted of members from Green Ocean and our four collaborating companies, Sunnen, SEW, Automoto 2105 and Nuvera.
Process Failure Risk Analysis (PFRA)
PFRA allows us to prevent risks that may could he threat to Green Ocean. PFRA is part of Total Quality Management and Six Sigma approaches. According to the 3D eBook of Professor Ranky, it allows Green Ocean to identify and minimize potential failure risks, and/or failures of processes in general, including disassembled sub-assemblies, objects and components, and their effects on the customer. It is aimed at minimizing dissatisfaction and financial loss for process related failure risks. We are able to optimize the process, minimize wastes, and meet customer needs after understanding the problems we face in our production and the risk of each process that could impact our products. With the audit following-up, Our team will review the results and then provide recommendations in the audit report. We will allso conduct a Quality Audit to ensure that our processes will follow principles of ISO 9001:2000 standards.
Continuous Improvement
Continuous quality improvement is one of the essential principles of ISO 9001: 2008. Sustainable Green Ocean will keep improving our processes. And we will also keep improving our products's quality. We will as well to achieve zero defect by following TQM tools like CIMpgr, CORA, and PFRA etc. Green Ocean processes will be added into CIMpgr models when they help in improving the quality of service. Redundant processes will be eliminated to reduce waste. Proper consideration will be given to said/unsaid customer requirements. And corresponding engineering solutions will be utilized. PFRA’s will be updated with new risks and recommended actions will be taken to mitigate the risks. By using the methodology from Professor Ranky's Total Quality Managment class, we will be able to reduce the variability in Green Ocean's processes.
Inventory Inspections
RFID technology helps us in reaching accurate inventory, which is the key element of a success company. Any discrepancy will be notified to the tech support immediately to reduce risks of missing parts, missing inventory and wrong shipping and receiving.
Non-conformance
Green Ocean does not accept any part that failed in passing the incoming quality control inspection during the process of being processed into inventory. We use control charts to detect non-conformities. we will work together with the related vendor to reduce the future non-conformance when non-conformance occurs. The QC Group will reject any raw material that does not meet their standard. All rejects will be documented. Green Ocean will keep conducting measurement on whether their vendors stay on board as good suppliers. When the non-conformance continues, we will terminate the supplier. Our finished goods will follow the same process.
Traceability
Using RFID, we will be able to track all our auto forklift and its components. Green Ocean have many control systems in place in order to easily trace back to see the history of the part when problem occurs. When many parts to be found in a bad condition, we can issue a recall to all effected owners. Green Ocean integrates RFID technology into our all processes in order to reduce communication errors and, at the same time, increase traceability of parts/assemblies.
Customer Service
Customer service is crucial. Customers expect a great product and great service. All employers of Green Ocean will have a training seminars. The training program is focused on handling customers unhappy experiences. We deliver surveys to our customers to measure customer satisfaction. Green Ocean is seriously to their customers complaint. We train our representatives to take immediate action to help our customer.
Panorama Navigation Map
The given case, includes images, videos and interactive talking panoramas illustrating an area. Panorama technology is used for understanding improving various process. In the CIMPgr we use parent child relationship, in the same way in the panorama based process modeling we can have parent process. This child program shows input, output, control and resources. Merging of CIMPgr and Panorama-based process modeling will add up in exploring the data. This will helps us to reduce waste, save time and money and will result in a sustainable growth. We can use these in our company as a part of making it more lean and sustainable. We will use this technology to train our employees. We can also use it to show a person a company or a process. This is very helpful in improving process, which will allow our manufacturers to see this and at the same time, be creative because the panorama gives a better understanding of the visual content. A good picture worths thousand words.
Panoramic navigation map is an innovative map for GREEN mobility and challenges. The example illustrating an area of a small town in New Jersey on the East Coast of the USA. It tries to combine several different viewpoints. It enables an individual, as a sustainable green engineering explorer, to reduce waste and improve energy management. And It also helps an individual, as an eco-tourist, to enjoy the environment and the atmosphere by using this virtual world. It is really user-friendly.
Part 3: Video Conferencing using WeChat.
What was the purpose of the video-conferencing session?
I conducted at VC with Yidi Wang. We discussed about knowledges that we have learnt so far from TQM course. We exchanged our ideas on developing plans for our new companies. We also communicated how we applied TQM process in our companies, and how we work in collaboration with other companies to create green sustainable service and products. We discussed about the implement of quality audits as well. Where I was looking at more of an internal audit to verify that the procedures I have put in place are being adhered to, Yidi Wang was looking at an external audit. She would want someone like OSHA to audit his company to make sure her processes were safe. Also, we experimented with video-conferencing as an alternative to face-to-face meetings, which is a good way of carbon footprint saving to the environment.
What software did you use for VC and how? (Must include 3-4 screen prints of the VC session as a proof.)
We used WeChat, which is an iOS APP for conducting the Video Conference.
What did you discuss and achieve during the VC session? (Offer a script of your discussions in professional English, not in 'hej dude what’s up language...)
We exchanged information about things we have learnt so far in this course. We used WeChat for video conferencing. Our main topic in the discussion was about working together to save electricity cost and to achieve Green Sustainability. We had ideas of establishing a Green Quality Audit Team.
How you liked this VC approach for collaborative problem solving
I like it because we are efficient during this process. There are so many benefits of conducting VC. Phone conferences would be better than email as well, but the video allows you to understand expression better. Live, in person meetings would still be better, but since I live far away from her, it would not be practical or environmentally friendly.
Main challenges
The main challenges were just shortcomings with the software she chose. If we were going to do this more often, it would have been worthwhile to find a more professional collaboration tool.
Estimated carbon footprint saving to the environment vs. a face-to-face visit
Total Carbon Footprint = 0.26 metric tons of CO2e. It is based on the vehicle I drive and the round-trip mileage from my house in Shanghai, China to Kunming, China if I would take flight to meet with Yidi Wang where she lives.
Green Engineering benefits of using VC
There are tons of benefits of using VC for meetings with collaborators. people would likely to meet with others from across the country and around the world on a weekly. There would be a lot of wasted fossil fuel use if people routinely flew or drove to such meetings. Additionally, for face-to-face meetings people tend to print copies of everything since they are not at their desk. VC encourages people to keep their work in digit form.

- Audit Initiation: I will appoint an independent audit team leader. I would provide him with the objectives, scope, and criteria of the audit, and make sure the audit team and those being audited make contact to understand the purpose of the audit.
- Document review: The audit team will review the documents and records prior to the audit to determine if documentation is adequate to continue.
- Preparing for an on-site visit: As this is an internal audit, the main concern here establishing on the objectives, scope, audit date(s), and roles and responsibilities. Checklists and reporting formats will also be prepared.
- Conducting the on-site visit: After an opening meeting, the audit team should conduct the planned audits. Depending on the length of the audit, they should provide periodic updates. At closing, all information will be verified and findings recorded.
- Preparing the audit report: All findings will be prepared in a formal report. Any recommendation for improvement should be included in the documentation. Once approved, the report will get distributed.
- Audit completion: Once all planned activities and complete and the report distributed, we will retain all documentation for our records.
- Audit follow-up: If any corrections or improvements were identified, timeframes will be determined for follow-up actions
Collaboration
We used the Control charts to play critical roles in the quality control process and in the procedures. Then we will have further work with Sunnen, Nuvera, Auto 2015.
All products components will be outsource by each eco-friendly, sustainable and green, and total quality focused subcontractors, such as SEW Company, who will be the provider of all customized drive components, Nuvera Company, who provides the best eco-friendly Hydrogen fuel cell, Sunnen Company, who meet our specialized sustainable and green honing and rilling requirements, and Automate 2015, who is not only the critical information of green and sustainable focused and total quality focused subcontractors provider, but also the organization for us to promote our quality and green focused product within a sustainable and green and quality focused manner. CORA, and the related methods discussed, will help us focus our team on quality. First and foremost, it keeps the focus on the customers and what they need. It involves all people on the team. It is not just done once and then set aside, but rather should be iterative to foster continual improvement. It helps us make decisions based on facts, data, and analysis. Finally, it shows us how our collaboration can mutually benefit our suppliers and us.
Based on what we have analyzed here, we are confident in our choice to collaborate with SpeedCell to develop lightweight textile shelves for our mobile application. We will work with Sunnen to design the system to control the movement of the shelves in the delivery trucks. Nuvera will provide the Hydrogen power needed to run the system, and based on this analysis will help us develop a greener charging system. Our design will be introduced to potential buyers at Automate 2015 in March. to design the system to control the movement of the Auto Forklift
Summary

Then we should have corrective action, which is must.
Manager must identify, control the sources of variation, take corrective action, and document these actions when the processes are not capable of being guided back to optimum control limits, which is the most challenging task in this area. Green Ocean utilizes variable charts and attribute charts, such as Xbar-chart, R-chart, p-chart and c-chart, to analyze problems in my company and develop the solutions to make sure that Green Ocean is manufacturing high quality green products.
We used Deming's 14 Rules of Management and Quality Concepts to achieve our organization to make profit for survival and provide the best service or goods at the lowest cost. We have learned more about how to provide a quality product to our customers. We will try our best to obtain The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and the Baldrige National Quality Program.
We saw where we were providing a better product than our competitors, and more importantly where we can continue to improve. everyone in our organization will contribute to improve our system. We will also performance TQM review. We will use Requirement Analysis Spreadsheet and Process-oriented failure Risk Analysis Spreadsheet. We will have Total Quality Control and follow Assurance Principles. We know 21 century is be knowledge driven century, so we will focus on this part. We will focus on innovation as well. We will model Total Quality Systems and Processes with CIMpgr.
Further Work Needed
Continuously improving our product and system is our goal and task. We will have further work on international greening approaches and solutions, sustainable green product design standards, sustainable green manufacturing standards, customer requirements analysis, product and process and service system risks, product reuse and green remanufacturing and recycling and reuse, global green supply chains, and keep studying from those international use-cases.There are constantly different ways in which we can improve the quality of our products and service. We have to keep in mind that we are never always at the highest level of quality, since there will always be aspects that will be needed to improve. Further work will include continuously improvement. This will allow us to cut costs and be quality focus, sustainable and green. We will try our best to keep working on making our processes more eco friendly, lean and sustainable.

Article 1 “Online Education”
More and more Chinese enterprisers are entering China Online Education area. Michael Yu, the founder of New Oriental School, and other founders, such as the founder of Baidu, all invested in online education. Michael Yu is popular. Chinese student know him and his education institute-new oriental school. American Dreams in China, the movie of his success way, released last year. The famous school motto is “Finding hope from desperation, Life will eventually be Splendid”. He is also now listed educational enterprise who publish bonds here in Wall Street in New York City. Online education is now rare here in USA, but he development of online education in China is somehow opening a new gate for education industry. The Obama administration has talked in general terms about online education as part of a grand plan to give the US the highest proportion of college-educated citizens in the world by 2020. Online education is a challenge to the traditional education. It is more sustainable and green.
“Michael Yu, as I believe almost every single Chinese Student has heard of him, who founded new oriental education school, which is now the only listed educational enterprise who publish bonds here in Wall Street in New York City. New Oriental is popular because it prepare for students who want to study abroad, the teaching method and special education there have set its reputation and spread its popularity all over the China. I believe that most Chinese students here in USA have been to New Oriental School when preparing for language tests such as TOFEL. However, before reading this essay I was only aware of its face-to-face teaching method, this is the first time that I know Michael Yu is doing online education. This is definitely the greatest and correct strategy that could be used to expand market, Michael Yu is catching up the pace of international education media, named online education. Online education is now rare here in USA, but he development of online education in China is somehow opening a new gate for education industry.” – By Yidi Wang
Article 2 “Tasting Success in China’s Food Market ”
Recently, Style Hong Kong Show was held last October in Changsha. It illustrates that Rising incomes of Chinese mainland consumers are boosting demand for quality food and wine, a trend that Hong Kong businesses are keen to tap into. More and more Chinese people focusing on quality of food and wine. Lots of my friends prefer to buy food from Hong Kong. I think it is a good news. Hong Kong food companies bring more competition, and Chinese local food companies need to response these challenge. Many of these companies have been exploring different areas of tBusiness-matching sessions are a key feature of Style Hong Kong, giving exhibitors a chance to meet potential local business partners.
“There are more and more Chinese people focusing on quality of food and wine. With the “Sanlu milk powder” incident of the outbreak, food safety has aroused the concern of society in general (Sanlu is an enterprise which produce milk powder contained melamine). Hong Kong food and wine are considered high quality by the mainland people. Most of my friends prefer to buy food from Hong Kong. Thus, there is a saying “Buy soy source from Hong Kong”, and it reflects that more and more mainland people lose heart of mainland food. More and more Hong Kong food company develop the mainland market. I think it is a good news. Hong Kong food companies bring more competition, and Chinese local food companies need to response these challenge. The only way they have to do is to improve their quality level. This is a win-win outcome, not only for Food Company, but also for customer.” – Jia Wang
Article 3 “Styling China”
In the past, there is a few people may think that China could be on the top of fashion someday like today. In this article Koyo Jeans said that China is a vast market, where there is a distinct discrepancy in consumer taste, buying behavior and cultural background. Maturing consumer taste among Chinese mainland shoppers is boosting demand for alternative fashion. I am glad to find that China is walking up to the world. Truth to be told, the demand of luxury is increasing in China. Moreover, Chinese people prefer to buy luxury as a status symbol.
“Long times ago no one would know that China could be on the top of fashion someday like today, the many fashion show that began to hold in China find China a permanent position in Fashion. As stated in the essay, maturing consumer taste among Chinese mainland shoppers is boosting demand for alternative fashion. Hong Kong fashion labels are tapping this lucrative market through the Style Hong Kong Show, which has been organized since 2007 by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, to help Hong Kong companies break into the mainland market. It is not surprised that luxurious furs are getting popular all over the world. Not only because of the demand, but also the quality, as mentioned in the essay, increase the reputation of clothing market of Hong Kong as well as mainland.” – Yidi Wang
